The Fondation Tremblant carried out its annual presentation of donations as part of the 24h Tremblant festivities on Friday, December 8. Close to 50 organizations were represented at Base Camp to receive their cheques totalling $750,350, a record year for the Fondation Tremblant. Along with the special donations made during the year – a one-time donation to the Samaritaine and a special acquisition project for the Maison de la Famille du Nord – $955,350 was turned over in 2023 to organizations working to benefit children in the MRC des Laurentides region. At the time of its call for projects, the Fondation received requests totalling $1.2 million in support of 98 projects by 55 organizations.

It’s the highest number since the foundation was created in 1997. The needs of organizations grow every year. Close to a third of the projects submitted were to respond to basic needs in food security or emergency funds for schools, for example. Since the first 24hTremblant event in 2001, the Fondation Tremblant has been fortunate enough to be part of the family of foundations which benefit from the event. Since it was founded, the Fondation du 24h has turned over $4,774,942 to the Fondation Tremblant! The funds provide indispensable support for the latter to carry out its mission.
