Cucinotto: bringing fine Italian dining into your kitchen
In June 2022, a piece of Italy settled into the heart of Mont-Tremblant Village. Cucinotto, the passion project of Chef Mario Concilio and his partner Marie-Andre Ducharme, delivers a unique gourmet Italian dining experience to busy outdoor enthusiasts looking for convenience without sacrificing taste or quality.
Concilio and Ducharme, both graduates of the ITHQ in Montréal with international culinary experience, share an Italian heritage and a deep connection to Mont-Tremblant.
“As long as I can remember, family weekends and summer vacations were all about Mont-Tremblant and Gray Rocks,” Ducharme remembers.
The pandemic inspired the couple to relocate their young family to Mont-Tremblant, along with their love of Italian food and a desire to contribute something new to a clientele with an active lifestyle.
“Mont-Tremblant is all about enjoying the outdoors,” Ducharme adds. “After a day of activities, meal preparation can be a challenge so we wanted to provide a solution,” she explains.
Cucinotto has become the go-to spot for cyclists to refuel with a gourmet coffee and freshly baked pastry, a quick bite from the lunch menu or seasonal dishes like braised beef and potato purée. Their sandwich menu is another popular choice.
Cucinotto is fully licensed, and their patio is the ideal spot for an après-vélo sangria or wine by the glass from among their private imports. Their fresh cherry tomato, strawberry, bocconcini and lemon fried bread salad with rosé wine vinaigrette will be offered come May.
Cucinotto’s specialty Italian products like pasta, preserves and organic olive oils perfectly complement the selection of prepared sous-vide meals: exquisite gourmet dishes that allow you to mix and match your proteins, vegetables and starches for restaurant-quality meals at home. Their signature “huile verte” finishing oil adds a delicious touch to every dish and makes a great gift.
Cucinotto is located at 1944 ch. du Village and is open Tuesdays – Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays – Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and for private events.
