You just have to see the trailer for the movie L’Ouragan F.Y.T. to be convinced: young Mont-Tremblant native Justin Labelle, who plays the lead role, has remarkable talent and makes quite an impression in this, his first appearance on the big screen.

Currently 14 years old, the Polyvalente Curé-Mercure student has always cherished the dream of making movies. After this promising first role, Justin hopes to pursue a career as actor, director and even producer.

Directed by Ara Ball, L’Ouragan F.Y.T. is a shocking cinematographic work starring the big names of Quebec filmdom, including Julie Le Breton, Martin Dubreuil, Pascale Montpetit, Karine Gonthier Hyndman, Nico Racicot and Jean-Pierre Bergeron.

Presented at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma and as a world premiere at the Cinéma Impérial on October 7 of last year and on the 11th of the same month at Cinéplex Quartier-Latin, L’Ouragan F.Y.T. will appear at the Cinéma Beaubien and other theatres in the province on May 19.

Let’s hope that Cinéma Pine in Sainte-Adèle is one of those theatres!
