SOPABIC celebrates its 25 years of existence
Individuals passionate about history and heritage were at the Complexe aquatique de Mont-Tremblant on March 5 to celebrate the 25th birthday of SOPABIC. Over its 25 years, the organization has presented ten or so exhibitions and organized numerous activities to help people discover the Mont-Tremblant region by “travelling through” a significant, 135-year era.
Two presentations will be made this spring on April 10 and 24 in the city hall council room: La légendaire route 11, presented by Philippe Aubry and l’Interprétation du patrimoine archéologique des Hautes-Laurentides, presented by Sylvie Constantin and Sylvain Généreux.
Lastly, let’s underline the involvement of the volunteers; they are truly indispensable to the functioning of the organization.
