Following more than three years of major renovations and restorations, the four-star hotel StoneHaven Le Manoir is welcoming its first guests in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. The extraordinary resort, which dates back to 1908, boasts one of the most beautiful views in the Laurentians.

The new owners, Georges Coulombe and Guylaine Brault, of Gestion Georges Coulombe – a business known for its expertise in the renovation of historic buildings – have succeeded in fully restoring the building’s charm and beauty in order to revive its history and architectural heritage.

Nothing has been left to chance to create an ambience like that of an exclusive private club, from restored antique furniture to historic artworks by way of magnificent period lighting fixtures…all of which have been tastefully combined with modern conveniences to provide a truly restful, opulent environment.

This large-scale real estate project has required major investment, to the tune of several million dollars.

It has everything: hotel, restaurant, banquet facilities, spa, Italian garden, trails and lake.

Whether for a delightful hotel stay or to enjoy a delicious meal in its restaurant, StoneHaven Le Manoir promises us a unique, unforgettable experience. The restaurant offers market-fresh cuisine, sometimes French, sometimes Mediterranean, which showcases products from the regional terroir.

The restaurant is under the direction of chef Sylvio Alonso, inspired by chef Éric Gonzalez, who had the role of special consultant in creating the initial menus.

Before long a swimming pool, outdoor hot tub including whirlpool baths, a mountainside steam bath (hammam) and sauna will be added to the hotel’s offering. Visitors can also visit the Manoir’s fully restored Italian garden, one of Québec’s forgotten gardens, which is today rediscovering its earlier fame.
