A promise of quality and nature: Neuchâtel on Le Maître

Following the acquisition of La Belle golf course in 2021, Le Maître complex is continuing its integrated development which combines an exceptional golf experience for its members and a quality place to live for its residents. With its new project, “Le Maître en Haut”, Construction Tremblant will increase by 50 percent the number of properties on its land, with the intent of protecting the site’s natural beauty. The mountainous part of the land, contiguous with the former Gray Rocks, has been given to the City for conservation purposes.

The exclusive lots in the Neuchâtel district are now for sale. The dozen, two-acre pieces of land – close to the cycling path – are destined to accommodate single-family homes which will respect a well-defined architectural code: reasonable square footage, large wooded areas, high-end materials (e.g., wood and stone), and sloped roofs.

According to Construction Tremblant representative Pascal De Bellefeuille, it is essential that the Mont-Tremblant style be preserved through use of a timeless design which integrates smoothly with the surrounding forest. “Nothing ostentatious,” he emphasizes. Mr. De Bellefeuille assures us that everything has been thought through in order to minimize the environmental impact of the golf activities, from new roads that go around some mature trees to irrigation ponds which reduce the pressure on Lac Ouimet.

Far from being a closed community, Le Maître remains open to the public in multiple ways. In winter, the cross-country ski trails that crisscross the golf course are accessible to all enthusiastic cross-country skiers. The tennis academy and driving range, located close to the entrance to La Belle golf course, allow everyone to take up tennis and golf. It’s in this sector, as well, that a new sports pavilion will soon be raised, to provide a swimming pool and pickleball courts. This project springs from a coherent vision which will be interesting to follow over the coming years.
