Restaurant La Savoie celebrates 30 years

This culinary destination in the heart of Tremblant’s pedestrian village, the restaurant La Savoie, celebrated its 30th birthday on September 14.

It’s almost hard to believe, but this wonderful eating venue has been virtually unchanged during those three decades. After all, you don’t mess around with a winning formula or team. It’s a family restaurant, owned and administered by Sara Leblanc and her daughter Lydia Leblanc, who rely on the talents of chef Martin – in his 28th year of loyal service – and on Carole, who has served these special foods since the very beginning.

The Savoie raclette, made with raw milk, remains the restaurant’s starring dish. The cheese, imported straight from the Savoie region of France, is placed on the table and transports guests on a gustatory trip to the heart of the French Alps in the Rhône district.

Then there’s the pierrade, which allows guests to cook – on a hot stone, right at the table – filet mignon, shrimp, scallops, duck breast or chicken breast without oil, butter or grease. The menu offers four savoy fondues, including cheese, broth, oil and red wine.

Now you know where to enjoy this authentic, delicious Savoie experience… right at the foot of the Mont Tremblant slopes.

Happy birthday, La Savoie!
