A specical musical experience with the Ensemble “Ambitus” in Saint-Sauveur and in St-Donat

Attending a Christmas concert is already a special occasion. Just imagine going to one where you can hear some of the most beautiful Christmas music, such as the heavenly Ave Maria, the suite for orchestra from The Nutcracker, Handel’s Hallelujah chorus, O Holy Night, The Little Drummer Boy, Greensleeves, and the magnificent Christmas Concerto by Arcangelo Corelli.

To add to the magic, this concert takes place in a church lit only by candles. “If there are moments in life one can never forget, this could be one of them,” the organizers promise us. A concert marked by charm, wonder and serenity.

Made up of Karine and Julie Gariss on violin, Dillon Archer on viola and David Bouchard on cello, the Ensemble “Ambitus” is on tour throughout Québec. In our area, the Ensemble “Ambitus” will be in Saint-Sauveur on Saturday, November 22 at 8 p.m.; and in the St-Donat church (475 rue Principale) on Saturday, December 9, at 8 p.m. Tickets, which cost $30, are available at the St-Donat florist at 984 rue Principale, and at the door on the evening of the concert.
