Holiday season at Tremblant

As tradition has it, Tremblant is preparing the happiest of Holiday Seasons for you. Here’s a quick look at what awaits you in the pedestrian village.

The real Santa Claus

On December 24, the young and young at heart are invited to come and meet the real Santa Claus in the pedestrian village. The parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Place de Voyageurs, winding up in Place St-Bernard where Santa Claus will give gifts to the children. Then he must be allowed to leave for his trip around the world.

The elves of the Grelot family

From December 22 to 31, there will be wonderful visitors in the streets of the pedestrian village. Toufou, the Tremblant mascot, and Tremblant itself will be honoured to welcome the Grelot family. When he was a youngster, the father, Joséphat, was the Santa’s elf who took care of the reindeer. He possessed the unusual gift of being able to communicate with them. At the age of 113, “young” Fredolin would love to be able to do the same when he grows up. Maman Mosette, the musician in the family, is looking for a husband for their daughter Angestine. Notice to those interested.

What’s more, the ambience will include lovely Christmas music. Come join your voice to those of the singers close to the fireplace in Place St-Bernard, where you can also toast a yummy marshmallow or sip a hot drink. A little pause during the seasonal frenzy.

Happy New Year!

It will be hot, hot, hot in Place St-Bernard on December 31

From 8:30 to 9 p.m., from the base of the mountain, you’ll be able to see a thrilling show: the torchlight descent. Members of the Snow School and of the Ski Club will demonstrate several types of runs and jumps. In addition, the groomers will try to steal the show.

Accompanied by your near and dear, you will then be invited to celebrate starting at 9 p.m. to the rhythms of DJ Skittel’ZZ and electronic saxophonist Vinny Falcone. Bring your fluorescent accessories to add to the magic of the moment. At the stroke of midnight, your New Year’s wishes will be crowned by the magnificence of the fireworks that will light up the Tremblant sky. If you have any energy left, the party will continue in the pedestrian village.

What a marvellous way to start off the new year!
