Fine weather is (finally) here

The snow has melted and winter sports have ended. The Domaine Saint-Bernard is moving into spring-summer mode. But what happens in the springtime at Domaine Saint-Bernard?

Nature is awakening and you can take advantage of the change by enjoying a stroll in the forest, admiring the Diable River, or having a picnic or a bit of a sunbath beside lac Raynaud. The migratory birds return and the gardens come back to life. We reconnect with our good training habits on the Wheeler course. In other words, we enjoy the lovely days we awaited so impatiently and we get ready for summer.

Spring also heralds the traditional cleanup, scheduled this year for Saturday, May 19. Come enjoy a day in the great outdoors to help us freshen up the Domaine. It’s also an opportunity to meet new people and to cop a few hours as a volunteer towards becoming an Ami du Domaine. Various tasks will be assigned in the morning: cleaning up the trails, the various gardens and the flower beds. People who fancy a bit more of a physical challenge can help move a picnic table – dismantled, of course – to the top of Mont Onontio. This addition will allow everyone to take full advantage of a pause at the summit with its glorious view.

Turning to entry fees, our entrance kiosk is also moving spring-summer mode: $5/adult, free for children aged 17 and under, for residents of Mont-Tremblant and for Amis du Domaine. Seniors aged 60 and over get a 10 per cent discount and a season pass is also available for $42.50. The entrance kiosk is also the perfect place to find out about the various trails and the activities available.

Numerous events and activities will be held at the Domaine Saint-Bernard this summer. You can update your calendar now with the following dates: Family Picnic July 7, Open-air concert July 21, Symposium des Arts August 4 – 5, Shooting Star Festival (festival des perséides) August 10 – 11.

To celebrate springtime and nature, May 25 to 27 will be Nature Days. This annual event is planned around World Biodiversity Day. For the occasion, entry to the Domaine Saint-Bernard will be free to all.
