In Mont-Tremblant, we share the road
The cycling club called Club de vélo des 2 vallées (Club V2V), in collaboration with the Ville de Mont-Tremblant, has launched a program called “On partage la route” (We share the road) to make the public more aware of bicycle road safety.
Mont-Tremblant is becoming increasingly prized as a destination by road cyclists. The goal of the program is thus to make both cyclists and drivers in the region aware of the importance of “living together” on the roads. To accomplish this, 2,500 electrostatic car stickers stating “À Mont-Tremblant, on partage la route” have been distributed to local businesses. These 2,500 messages will thus be a daily reminder to cyclists and drivers that the road is to be shared. The initiative is financed by the 2017 program of support to area organizations.
