Meeting at the top

Four young volunteers from the Club des petits déjeuners (kids breakfast club), and students from the Des Monts high school in Sainte-Agathe had a dream come true at the Tremblant World Cup race: they met, in the flesh, the king of bumps and ambassador of the Club des petits déjeuners, Mikaël Kingsbury.

Journalists-for-a-day Claudie Perreault, Lili-Rose d’Anjou, Léa Rajotte-Julien and Hugo De Montigny interviewed the skier with the goal of then writing a report about their experience. “He was generous, relevant, and we learned a lot about him,” commented Claudie after the meeting and press conference that launched the weekend of World Cup activities.

We learned, notably, thanks to the questions posed by the students, that the mogul king would like to extend his career at least until the 2022 Olympics, that he would like to attend university after he hangs up his skis, and that sports psychology and real estate interest him.
