Your season-starting cycling events

The Tailgate, Saturday, May 12

This is the season-launching event, a happening that will give us a chance to get together, share our passion and celebrate.

The event will take place in Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort’s P3 parking area. Various companies will present their new stuff and allow participants to demo their mountain bikes.

It’s a fair, as well, where people can sell and exchange equipment and bicycle components. The Caravane de sEb will be on-site, the atmosphere will be festive and the music lively, with hosting.

It’s also a day when you can buy your season pass and have a chance to win a super Manitou Jack seat post offered by S4 Suspension, or one of ten entries for Scandinave Mont-Tremblant.

Bring a child mountain-biking, presented by L&P, on Sunday, June 3

This one’s a must for kids and teens.

It’s a morning filled with workshops in play format with leaders for kids aged two to seven, and an afternoon of on-trail learning with certified instructors for youngsters aged eight to 16. The goal is to initiate young people into the basics of mountain biking, to make them comfortable on the trails, to improve certain techniques and inspire them to be active while having fun in a safe environment.

Sign them up soon! L&P is offering a nice gift to the first 150 youngsters registered.

“Camp des Poules qui roulent” for women, Friday, June 8 to Sunday, June 10

A full weekend when everything is taken care of.

This event is aimed as much at women who want to get into mountain biking as it is at women who already do it and want to improve by learning new techniques.

The program: workshops with certified instructors, a bike mechanics session, films, a breakfast conference, relaxation and above all, a fun, motivated gang who enjoy themselves and outdo themselves as they share the same passion.

There are different packages: with meals and snack, a day, all weekend, with or without accommodation.
