Five years of ziplining from the summit

On Friday, June 21, the adventure company Ziptrek Ecotours celebrates its fifth anniversary in Mont Tremblant Resort and will provide a fun-filled day to mark the occasion. Ziptrek would like to thank its amazing partners and staff who, over the years, have contributed to making the dream a reality.

Launched in June 2014, this recreational tourism activity was enthusiastically received by the public. In providing the longest ziplines in Québec, the company also positioned itself as the number one outdoor summer activity at Tremblant.

The descent is made up of five separate lines that allow participants to travel, through the air at high speed, the distance that separates the summit of Mont Tremblant from the pedestrian village.

Besides the excitement of zooming along through the treetops, zippers also have the opportunity to take in breathtaking views of the Laurentians and learn more about the secrets of the local ecology.

Remember that from the age of seven, children can take part in the adventure. It’s important to mention to staff if the child weighs less than 75 lbs (34 kg), in which case he or she will descend on the lines in tandem with a guide.

In addition to the special offers that will be available to make the zipline experience even more accessible, other festivities will be rolled out that day including the traditional cake, a toast, photo-taking and other entertainment.

Stay tuned for more information and visit the company’s website or Facebook page as the date of the festivities approaches.
