Valérie was able to show that she was again ready to confront the best female skiers at the first World Cup competition of the season, held at Sölden, Austria, on October 17 and 18. Off the competition circuit since February 2019 due to an injured right leg, the Mont-Tremblant skier jumped 33 places to finish in 25th place, thus renewing her pleasure in crossing the finish line.
