It was a wait, but the result was worth waiting for. The brand new Le Maître golf course clubhouse, which opened its doors on September 4, again overlooks the 18th hole and provides a spectacular view of the course, waterfalls and surrounding mountains.

Boasting an architecture that combines chic, contemporary and rustic elements, the new building is markedly inspired by the former clubhouse. Construction Tremblant – principal contractor of Le Maître’s resort community – and architect Louise Bourrée, who drew up the first iteration of this gathering place, nonetheless revised its configuration.

The sumptuous entrance hall creates an imposing effect thanks to its combination of glass, stone and wood. As anticipated, the shop is larger than the original version, notably facilitating movement out to the tees.

The main floor is 1000 square feet larger than its predecessor, which has permitted enlargement of the restaurant space – a space that includes, in addition to its superb dining room, a bar, adjoining bar and new threeseason gazebo with sliding glass doors.

The terrace, located between the pavilion and swimming pool, has also been enlarged and now includes a fireplace corner. In terms of food production, chef Luc Champagne will benefit from a kitchen that has been entirely revised, permitting greater production capacity. A new outdoor terrace has a summer kitchen and barbecue planned for use during tournaments and events.

While the clubhouse has already welcomed the members, the decoration still needs some finishing touches and the final masterpiece will be revealed in springtime 2021.
