Repairing an RV in Mont-Tremblant The secret is in the team

Whether it’s at the wheel of a motorized RV, towing a trailer or in a pickup camper, hitting the road in an RV is a dream for many. It could be a new unit or a used one, but one thing is sure: investment follows. The golden rule for protecting the unit is this: rigorous maintenance will prevent big jobs.

On the road, an RV gets the same battering as does a house in a full-on hurricane: winds over 100 km, repeated bumps thanks to our lovely, bumpy roads, the ups and downs of the off-road trails… This rough treatment exerts considerable pressure on the structural integrity of the vehicles.

That’s where the friendly team at Réparation VR Mont-Tremblant comes in. It is run by the entrepreneurial couple Diane Bélanger and Mario St-Laurent, to whom we owe the late, great and much regretted Crémerie Mabel ice-cream shop, which closed its doors last fall.

Mario, who has more than 20 years of experience in repairing RVs, and his spouse Diane, are happy to be able to count on a team of seasoned technicians…which is truly a lucky break in this time of labour shortages. In addition to providing a careful, personalized service, they can distance-work in the winter – in an RV, of course!

“It’s not necessary to redo the joints every year, but they must be carefully inspected before and after every season,” says Diane. “Water infiltration is unforgiving.”

“You get it out in the spring: inspection. Before winter: inspection. If something needs to be repaired, it has to be done immediately. Better to prevent than to heal,” Mario notes in conclusion.
