School break, vacations, travel and safety

Summer is undoubtedly on its way. But school break weeks are also an opportunity to kick back and use the time to recharge while taking advantage of winter’s final days. Many families take the opportunity to visit our beautiful Laurentians or leave for the sunny south.

Before you leave

It’s important to fight the desire to share your joy on the social media and to avoid announcing your departure. Don’t make it easy for the bad guys by publishing the fact that your residence will be empty for several days. Instead, post your best vacation photos after you return.

Make sure your entryway and doormat are shoveled to make it look like the residence is occupied. Leave a few lights burning and ask a trusted neighbour to pick up any flyers.

Will you be visiting us?
