New this winter at Mont-Tremblant national park

Do the first snows of winter rev up your spirits? They do mine, and the park national du Mont-Tremblant team is pretty much in sync with that. The members love playing outdoors, and this year we’ve chosen a few new winter activities to satisfy our desire to get back out in nature.

A special trail for skate skiers

Those of you who love skate skiing will be spoiled by the 19-km-return trail from the Centre de découverte at the level of Lac du Pontage. Breathtaking views include a snow-covered Lac Monroe, silvery forests, the Chutes-Croches under their white coat, a corridor of icy cliffs, but in particular, a fabulous quality of slide with 110 metres of elevation change. Not your ordinary experience, in fact, unique of its kind.

And what’s more, it’s in your own backyard!

Adventure from shelter to shelter

This winter also marks the reopening of our shelters…our “refuges”. Accessible via Nordic skiing, classic skiing or on snowshoes, these are connected by no less than 100 km of mountain trails. Whether you want to enjoy a midday lunch or to sleep in one for the exclusivity, the rustic experience provided by the refuges offers disconnection from the day-to-day and better connection to nature.

Adventure awaits!

On foot, on skis or on snowshoes, contemplate…

No winter equipment? No problem. Rent it at the Centre de découverte or at the Pimbina-Saint-Donat sector reception building, by reservation. End your day at the Centre de découverte around the outdoor fireplaces positioned to have a stunning view of Lac Monroe.

What could be more picturesque?

Check out sepaq.com to learn of the current offers and services, as well as the snow conditions. Hope to see you on the trails!
