New: Maison Jacynthe in Mont-Tremblant

In 2017, Maison Jacynthe opened a first store in Sainte-Thérèse. After that, the company opened other stores throughout Québec. The Mont-Tremblant shop, which opened in August in the former Patrick Bermand restaurant premises, is the thirteenth to date. What follows is an interview with Jacynthe René, founder and co-owner of the business with her spouse Sylvain Garon.

Tremblant Express: “Can you describe your project for us?”

Jacynthe René: “We want to provide a place where people feel at home, like this log building which has the pleasant feeling of a chalet you’d like to go to. Besides, people feel comfortable in our stores and often put down their bags and coats, as they would on a family visit.”

T.E.: “What would you find in a Maison Jacynthe?”

J.R.: “Our visitors find products for the body or facial ritual, essential oils to soothe little scratches and insect bites, formulas with active ingredients for housekeeping or laundry, as well as supplements and our superfoods. All these products have been developed and made in our laboratories in Québec.”

T.E.: “What are your product characteristics?”

J.R.: “Our products are 100% active, which means that every ingredient has a specific use: there are no fillers. Our cosmetics are so natural that you could eat them,” she states passionately. “We have a food line, as well, which will appeal to the area’s cyclists and sportspersons. Every shop has a corner for “ready-to-eat” items where everything has been cooked on-site, including our meal bars, snack squares or salads to enjoy at the chalet.”

“We are targeting the informed customer who examines the contents, checks the ingredients and is aware of quality of life and of prestige products, and is also active,” Jacynthe concludes. 2176, chemin du Village
