The “Public Space” comes to life!

With a gas fireplace, skating ring (rink), table games and places to relax, the Espace public is a meeting place where shows, entertainment, festivals, exhibitions, outdoor cinema and all kinds of events will take place. As it awaits its virtual inauguration, the square is already coming to life at the corner of Labelle and Saint-Jovite streets.

A celestial garden

To brighten up the Holidays, the town square is hosting Jardin céleste, a multimedia installation created by Lucion Média, one of whose notable accomplishments was its work on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge lighting project.

Here Lucion has designed, specifically for Mont- Tremblant, a scene featuring impressive lighted spheres housing shadow theatres. For the most dramatic experience, visit the Jardin céleste between nightfall and 11 p.m. See it as a family until January 22!

Exhibition called Cultiver le vivant

The Espace public is also hosting an exhibition of large-format photos Cultiver le vivant (Grow what lives) by artist Catherine Fauteux, finalist for the Artist of the Year of the Laurentians award presented by the Québec Council for Arts and Letters. Her exhibition will remain in place all winter.

The ice ring

Lastly, as promised, a ring of ice (rink) in a figureeight shape will have skaters gliding along in the heart of this new Mont-Tremblant town square. A temporary building will allow skaters to don their skates in warmth and comfort.

      Hi Marco,
It’s on the corner of rue de Saint-Jovite and rue Labelle.
In front of The Grill St-Georges.
      Be well.
