Two prestige real estate agencies join forces

Real estate agencies Royal LePage Région Mont-Tremblant and Mont-Tremblant Real Estate merged their operations on March 27.The new company – which thus becomes the region’s largest real estate agency – will carry the name and the colours of Mont-Tremblant Real Estate. It will continue, however, to benefit from the advantages, particularly the technological advantages, of its association with the Royal LePage network.

The two agencies have been acquired by one of the world’s leading real estate companies, Brookfield Real Estate Services, which owns (most notably) the luxury boutique agency Johnston & Daniel. Founded in 1950, Johnston & Daniel is a brand-name real estate agency that specializes in marketing distinctive houses, principally in Southern Ontario, from offices located in Toronto Centre and Oakville. After Johnston & Daniel, Mont-Tremblant Real Estate becomes Brookfield Real Estate Services’ second luxury boutique agency in the country, and first in Quebec.

“It’s very exciting,” concedes Jennifer McKeown, owner broker of Mont-Tremblant Real Estate. “I am also very pleased to work with Paul Dalbec. We both have a great deal of experience and can each count on the strengths of the other to form a solid team,” she emphasizes.

“We are obviously very enthusiastic,” says Paul Dalbec, owner broker of Royal LePage Region Mont-Tremblant. “Who would have believed it? It will be a pleasure to work with Jennifer; we are really very complementary. There will be incredible synergy between our two teams. It will be so dynamic. Nothing but positive,” he adds.

With more than 35 per cent of the market, the new Mont-Tremblant Real Estate will become the biggest agency in the region. The agency will benefit from the fame and prestige of Mont-Tremblant Real Estate as a luxury boutique and from the solid reputation of Royal LePage, located at 2195 chemin du Village in Mont-Tremblant. Mr. Dalbec’s agency, well established for more than 30 years, will also retain its offices at 993 rue de Saint-Jovite.

A serious Web presence

In addition to having the benefit of visibility on royallepage.ca – one of the country’s most-visited sites with more than four million visitors a month – the properties of customers of the new Mont-Tremblant Real Estate agency will also be visible on the most-visited site in this region, namely, tremblantrealestate.ca.

“Our clients will benefit from the best of both worlds thanks to the prestige of Mont-Tremblant Real Estate and the visibility of an international network. All my listings will now be on tremblantrealestate.ca and on royallepage.ca. The merger will permit us to be a technological leader. Don’t hesitate to call me directly if you have questions,” says Paul Dalbec.
