Cycling event on the chemin du Nordet
The second Ascension du col du Nordet Hillclimb will take place this coming September 24.
Ratified by the Fédération québécoise des sports cyclistes (FQSC), the event has participants complete a 65-km round trip with a positive grade change of more than 1,000 metres on the chemin du Nordet. The two most difficult sections will be timed and the cumulative results will allow identification of a Kom (King of the mountain) as well as a Qom (Queen of the mountain).
The event, whose official partner is Franke Mercedes Benz, last year hosted 105 participants and permitted the organization to turn over $525 to Moisson Laurentides.
Registrations are underway and places are limited.
