Since 2020, Hôtel UNIQ has been providing unusual, eco-responsible, lodging solutions in various magnificent Québec locations. This summer, with a successful first season under its belt, the Québecois company has decided to erect its exclusive camp-village at Domaine Saint-Bernard to be able to offer nights surrounded by nature from mid-May to October 9.

Begun by two young entrepreneurs who love travel with a passion, namely Myriam Corbeil – who remains the sole owner – and Solène April, Hôtel UNIQ meets a need for escape which will please the most demanding. Each luxury tent is equipped with a double bed with bed linens, a table, two chairs, a fan, and extra heating or a heated coverlet upon request. Charming treats such as welcome gifts and natural products for the bath also await the guests.

These most unusual, nomadic, Québecois units (whence the name UNIQ), allow guests to fully enjoy the natural surroundings, as when camping, and yet provide the comfort to be found in a hotel. While they provide the privacy required for a peaceful retreat, the units are scattered like wildflowers across a huge field and create a little village which allows its visitors to enjoy the kind of community spirit usually found in inns.

Several activities are available, including yoga at sundown, Shirin Yoku (“forest bathing”), painting from nature, astronomy evenings, volleyball tournaments and musical evenings around a fire. “We are really happy to be back at the Domaine Saint-Bernard,” Myriam Corbeil says. “There are many new aspects to the Domaine experience this year, such as the presence of Experience SK for on-site rental of mountain bikes, and Côté Bouffe, a gourmet team that will provide restaurant service.

A springtime special includes a 15 percent discount until June 15. Take advantage of it!
