The magic of the Holiday Season rests largely on Christmas music, much of which is heard only at this enchanting time of year.

The program for this concert – piloted with a master’s hand by artistic director Louis Babin – promises to be marvellous: 19 superb works, including some known by many since childhood, others that may be less familiar, or even newfound treasures. A real Holiday Season tradition, the Choeur Tremblant’s Christmas concert officially launches the year-end festivities in our area.

This year, it will be held in the Saint-Jovite church on Sunday, December 4 at 4 p.m. The timing couldn’t be better for going out afterwards for a delicious supper with family or friends. And by the way, the number of choir members has grown by 15 per cent since last year.

Regular tickets are $25. VIP tickets, at $50, allow their holders to enjoy reserved seats at the front of the church, as well as supporting the choir. Tickets are available from choir members or at L’Apostrophe Plus Hamster (1090 rue de Saint-Jovite, Mont-Tremblant – cash only).
