Here’s a simple recipe to warm you up in the month of February.

Spiced hot chocolate from Palette de Bine

  • 4 cups (1 litre) whole milk
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Palette de Bine cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) Palette de Bine chopped chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) liquid vanilla or Essence de Mélilot (Sweet Clover Extract) from Gourmet Sauvage
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) cayenne powder

Serve warm to hot.
