Sing Noël with the Chœur Tremblant

Le Choeur Tremblant

The Chœur Tremblant is happy to invite anyone who loves music to come sing traditional English- and French-language Christmas songs and carols with the choir at its concert on Sunday, December 9 at 3 p.m. at the Saint-Jovite church. In addition, extracts from Puccini’s “Messa di Gloris” will be presented. It would be a shame to miss this magical start to the Christmas season.

The concert will feature soprano Maria Knapik and pianist Jenna Richards accompanied by more than one hundred singers from the Société philharmonique du Nouveau Monde, of which the Choeur Tremblant is a part.

Named a “Cultural treasure” by the Ville de Mont-Tremblant in 2016, the Chœur Tremblant has been bringing together music lovers and choral singing, and promoting music culture through the presentation of top quality concerts of classical music, since 1994.

We are promised “a magnificent afternoon of joy and peace in a welcoming place where Québec tradition joins Puccini.” It’s interesting to note that Giacomo Puccini composed the “Messa di Gloria” at the age of 22, thus presaging his astonishing talent for opera and his fondness for sacred music.
